Can’t use hashtags or email at symbol on Logitech keyboard

Help a gal out please.

Just got a Logitech universial folio keyboard for my iPad. Just needed something simple to do the job. However, can’t access hashtag symbol, paste, or the email symbol at all, no matter what combination of keys I try.

For example, here is all the functions I have tried for attempting to get the email symbol:

β€˜ - got this from fn + the email symbol key
Γ† - got this using ctrl + the key
Get nothing when I try alt + the key, or shift + alt + the key
β€œ - this is shift + the key

For hashtag:

| - shift + key
Β« - ctrl + key
Nothing with alt
nothing with shift + alt, just a control panel
\ - fn + key

I’m at an actual loss. Google is no help.

Had a look and cant find the answer

The PC solutions are normally:
1. Change keyboard keymap.
2. Check if there are any drivers/ software that needs downloading.
3. Check whether there are special key combinations.

I would normally expect it to be auto.
I looked on logitech site but its slow and unhelpful.
I looked on my normal tech sites and although I expect they might answer I think apple specific sites are more likely.

Post it on here.

No software needed. Looked through logitech's own community forum and failed to find help there. I'll check out the forum you linked me to. Thanks!

FYI # is called hash. A hashtag is a specific use of a hash.

My iPad keeps autocorrecting it and I didn't even realise!
Have you tried shift 3?

(# used to be called poundsign)
