I am in year 9 going into year 10, just wanted to know which programming language would be most helpful for doing my GCSEs next year?

I guess you're taking GCSE Computer Science next year? The most useful one to you is going to be whichever one your school uses really. Most schools use Python, so if that's the case, have a look at codecademy to get a good intro to the language:

Ask your teacher. No point in learning Python if they teach C# or Javascript.

Depends on what your school uses. Mine uses java, but I'm pretty sure that most tend to use Python.

Either way, python is probably the easiest to start off with as the syntax is easy to understand
