I would recommend this to everyone by the way!!! But my question is why can’t we do NCS again because I really want to. I did the autumn ncs 2018 and it only lasted about 2 weeks in total and we didn’t have a grad party, whereas the summer ncs lasts 3-4 weeks and you have a grad party after it. Can I do the summer ncs if I have done the autum ncs, I paid £50 for the autumn one and missed out on things I would have done in the summer.

Most of the time you can't do it twice because although it only costs you up to £50, it costs a lot more to the NCS Trust and government to provide you with a place, it's supposed to be something you do once, hence "once in a lifetime opportunity", to get the skills and experience from the programme. If everyone wanted to do it more than once it wouldn't be sustainable, the £50 contribution is a very small portion of what it actually costs to provide participants with the experience.

Why not go back as staff when you're 18 or as a volunteer over Summer before you're 18? You can still take part in the activities etc.
