I'm about t start a degree in either management sciences or accounting and financial management in October, and I am interested in going into CF or TS once I graduate.

However I have a couple of questions:

    1. How important is University/Course when applying for the Advisory arms at the big4.

    2. Is it only PwC that give people the chance to take an MBA at London Business School after the ACA or any other MBA?

    3. How competitive are the London offices compared to the likes of IB?

    1. Uni course doesn't matter that much perse (as long as you can pass the online tests etc, you'll be fine to get to the interview stage) - but beware, there tend to be less places and increased caliber of competition for positions within CF London

Further still if applying for the powerhouse of KPMG whom are the market leaders in the area i've heard the interviews etc have been EXTREMELY tuff as you'll be facing IB grads who tend to apply to KPMG in particular b/c of their rep

    2. You would have to ask either Deloitte and KPMG for 100% but I don't see why they wouldn't offer that option

    3. Read response to question 1

A lot less than front office IB, but still hard.
