Hi everyone,

I'm currently going into second year of my Computer Science degree in U.K. and I'm considering studying abroad in Hong Kong (either HKUST or CUHK or City university) during my penautlimate year.

Could anyone please tell me which uni is better in terms of location (i.e. how central to HK Islands and local amenities), prestige and social life.

Also, is HK an ideal location for travel?

Any comments will be appreciated

Thanks!

social life: City or CU

If you're looking for prestige and for a location close to Hong Kong Island, why aren't you thinking HKU? HKU also has the highest number of international students.

Hong Kong is a transport hub, so in terms of air travel yes, you can access major cities all over the world easily. You just need to remember that you won't actually be in China, if you're thinking of travelling to China. From Hong Kong to China, you'd need to get a visa, pass an international hard border, get a different currency, get an electric adapter (Hong Kong uses UK socket), and all flights from Hong Kong are international flights.
