The other day I had a science resit exam which I was entered for by my teacher. However, with all the modules put together I will get an A* in science regardless of whether I resat that exam or not.

I told my teacher that I wasn't going to go to the exam because there wasn't any point. But just before the exam, the exam people phoned up and asked me why I havn't turned up.

    What will happen?

The worst is that they will probably ask you to pay for the exam, but if it is a resit anyway you may have already paid, but if you haven't that is all that they will probably do.

You just wont get a grade for that exam, theyll choose the highest grade, which in your case will be the exam first time around, wont effect your overall grade

nothing will happen. You'll get an X for this sitting, but it's less than your last grade, so you'll just keep the same grade.

there's no punishment for not turning up to an exam (unless your school has some sort of internal whipping punishment they specify, there's certainly no punishment from the exam board that).

at my school, they would make you pay for the exam (which would be like £20)
