I keep seeing people talk about it in relation to Hamlet...I sitting Hamlet tommorrow but not got a clue what Lyrical Ballads is...can anyone shed some light? Am I meant to know about it? Just looked through a past paper and didn't see it on there; is it just a different set text or something? The reason I'm so confused is that everyone seems to be talking about Halmet and Lyrical Ballads; implying that you need to know both??

Well if you're sitting AQA Unit 4 A2 tomorrow you should be studying two set texts, one of which will be Shakespeare, and the other another text included in the syllabus, but not necessarily both Hamlet and Lyrical Ballads. If you're already studying two set texts, one of which is Hamlet and the other something else (such as john Clare I think?) then you won't need to know Lyical Ballads AS well. Think it's a bit late now if you do need to study Lyrical Ballads! lol xx
