How important are the 10th grade results?

I am Godfrey and I am currently doing the IB programme. I am in the second year and I am doing reasonably well with a 40/42. However, when I was in 10th grade I was not as focused with my MYP course (internal exams), as a result of that my report from 10th grade isn't great. I was wondering how important the are the 10 grade results in the consideration of applying to universities if you take the MYP and can my 10th grade results hinder my chances of getting into a good university?
