frequency = wave speed / wavelength. This is derivable from more normal mechanics rules, just placed into the context of waves...

tension is a force that can be applied to certain application relating to oscillating events hence having a frequency, but not in all applications, i don't think there is a general tension relationship with wave physics relating to all contexts.

Not really sure what are you trying to ask and in what context are you asking about the relationship.

Perhaps, there is really a relationship for a stationary wave formed in a taut string of linear mass density μ with a tension T in the string.
