How is bp regulated in case of chronic renal failure?
BP is regulated by both the nervous system (i.e. sympathetic nervous system) and the endocrine system (i.e. kidneys and the renin-angiotensin system). In chronic kidney disease, there is activation of the RAS system as well as sodium retention which raises the BP and worsens the kidney function.
