Hi, I was told off at work a couple of times, but don't want to tell my mum. It's causing me a great deal of anxiety. Please help me

Hi there. I'm sorry to hear that. Is there any specific reason you don't want to tell your mum aside from anixety? What do you imagine her reaction to be in your head? Are there any past situations where your mum has found out about something similar and reacted badly?

It's not the telling off that I'm anxious about now. I just don't want to tell my mum about it. She doesn't need to know anyway, does she....I'm an adult. She'd be disappointed most likely
