So I've just passed my second year of uni with a strong 2:1 so I know I am in a position to apply for masters. I want to study abroad for a lot of reasons but mainly to get out of the country. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this as the process seems considerably more complicated than applying in the UK via UCAS. Also are there many financial aid/charity schemes open to people because I know I won't be able to get student loan etc.

The process of applying will differ by university and by country, so there isn't really any general guidelines. Look at the websites of universities/courses that interest you, and they should each have a guide on how to apply. They will also know if grants/scholarships available to you.
