Cars are a personal choice. If you like Astras and you see one at the right price; buy it.

I don't like Vauxhalls. The seats give me back ache and the ones I have tried have been bland or under engineered.

I don't like convertibles. They are heavier and more wobbly than hard top alternatives. I prefer refinement and calm in the cabin when driving.

How about getting a BMW, Audi, Merc, Volvo with a sunroof instead?

Got a budget of about 3500 needs to be under 1.8 and be a manual

bought myself a vauxhall astra vxr lsat week. increase the budget and enjoy, would recommend
