Going to book for a scan soon so don’t know which is better CT scan or MRI symptoms include
Swollen lymph nodes

Weight loss
Loss of appetite
Been like this for three months that include blood test and chest x ray both came back normal apart from vitamin d deficiency so i wanted to know if the most effective scan that will tell me if something is wrong

MRI’s are great since they’re very detailed in their images but if your claustrophobic or hate loud noises-I wouldn’t suggest it. As for CT scans, they’re faster, accurate and are great for checking organs. Because you’re going to check your swollen lymph nodes, I’d suggest a CT scan.
