I wake up every morning feeling nauseous and sick, but this goes away throughout the day.

I'm 100% not pregnant!

what could it be or how to stop it from happening?

Sinus/inner ear trouble? Allergies? Mucus draining into an empty stomach overnight can cause nausea. Blocked inner ear/sinus caused by mucus being overproduced but not draining because you are lying down can cause nausea - it causes a balance disturbance, like being seasick. It goes away during the day because you are upright, and you also get some food in your stomach.

If it is this, get your ears checked by the gp, try a decongestant and/or an expectorant that thins mucus. Worked for me.
