So nearly six years ago I missed my nursing offer (I got BEE) and then did an alternative course (an fdsc in health and social care) and go onto mental health nursing (then dropped out but that's a different story).

So here are my suggested back up options;
1. Look in clearing, there are quite a few universities offering nursing and midwifery this year, you have to be prepared to attend interviews quite quickly for these
2. Try foundation years
3. Consider other alternative courses, such as doing a hnc in health and social care as universities can accept these in place of good level 3 grades.
4. Take a gap year and resit

Hi

I was hoping you could help me?

So I've decided to go back to university and study child nursing - I already have a degree and graduated in 2017 but i'm no longer passionate about pursuing it! I know that i will be eligible for funding as per the gov.uk website but my main concern is whether i'll be accepted on the course?

My grades are bcc (some require bbc so i'm slightly out) - one university recommended that i should apply through clearing as i will defo be accepted, but that seems like a risk but having seen your list i think it will be more possible.

I wouldn't want to apply be rejected and then not be considered for clearing as I have already been rejected - should I wait for clearing?

I want to apply at

-Greenwich
-city
-Lsbu

Also I have researched the universities and some of them require a reference. I was wondering if I would be able to use my previous university tutor as a reference or would it need to be from an employer?

Also for a personal statement am I able to use a personal experience of working with children or would I need professional experience?

thank you in advance
