I just want to know what they are and pros and cons of each? And can you apply to both stand-alone and the 'normal' programme at once?

Pros and cons of each? So you are an international and you have the choice between starting FY1 and FY2, is that right?

Generally the recruitment for the main FY program is much before standalone posts come out, but if this situation arose then yes I suppose you could apply to both and drop one if you got both.
