Hi!
I was at a nature reserve this weekend just gone. My mum noticed what we think was a fly on my leg, knocked it off and then a few hours later it was obvious it had bit me.
On Monday it was more inflamed, I applied an anti-histamine throughout the day and this relieved it for a short while.
Today I would say the swelling has got a little bigger, it is still very red and in a bit of pain.
Really not sure if I should bother my infirmary with this? I would book a doctor's appointment but the earliest will be 2 weeks away which is a little too long when I'm worrying so much...
Thanks in advance!
I've tried to submit an image but due to the size restrictions it is very small 😫

You should definitely get this checked out by a doctor. This looks like a tick bite, worst case scenario you could be at risk of Lyme disease. No one is going to diagnose you over the internet, make the appointment or get to a walk in centre.

Go and see the doctor. I had a similar scenario, but my wrist swelled overnight and I couldn't even get my watch on. It was red, itchy, swollen, and it turned out that I've got an infection. Not going to share my diagnosis with you and compare our wounds, though I think - better be safe than sorry. So make an appointment, and try to stay calm.

No, if you get it checked out, they will treat it and you will lose your chance to gain amazing fly like superpowers.
