Hi there!
I'm a current student at Kent I didn't stay in Parkwood/Lypeatt Court during my first year but I have had a couple of friends who did. Parkwood accommodation has a really nice vibe to it because it's like a little student village on campus! It is probably one of the most sociable accommodations on campus because of the layout of the houses into little courts. Also all of the houses in Lypeatt court have been recently refurbished so are now some of the nicest accommodation on campus. What's great about Lypeatt court is that is one of the closest courts to main campus, Woody's (Parkwood's student hub with a shop, restaurant, dance studios, computer room, etc) and the laundry facilities. If I had my chance again I would probably apply to Parkwood as in my opinion it is one of the best value accommodations on campus and arguably, the most fun too! If you have any other questions about accommodation or life at Kent in general then please feel free to ask
