Hi everyone, I am new here and I would love to get your input about my current situation...

I am an international student that has already completed his MA in Publishing after graduating from English Literature and Linguistics... I have always been interested in CS and my Publishing dissertation was basically developing a Python program that did adjusted forecastings of book sales based on sentiment analysis of social media posts. I am currently interning at the Communications department at the United Nations and looking to move back to the UK to live with my girlfriend.

As it stands I haven't completed courses in Advanced Maths or any A levels (because I am from South America), and I am looking for a way in to become a developer.

I have been looking at some courses that present themselves as alternatives like an Msc in Computing and Information systems taught at Queen Mary in London ( I already heard back from them and I have an unconditional offer), or maybe an online Bsc in Computer Science offered by the University of London.

The reason why I am considering a Bsc lies mainly of what I have read about CIS degrees (especially conversion courses) compared to actual CS degrees. I still have doubts whether reputation is a huge factor considering my first degree was in Lit.

I know that I am starting quite late... but I would like some pointers... or maybe info about an accelerated degree? My my mind is a jumbled mess and I need to answer to QMUL soon.

Which course covers what you are interested in? Also look at where grads end up.
