I am a student that is looking for a part time job. I have applied to so many places and I have been rejected countless number of times. I have tried large chain retail stores and I have not been successful in any application. I feel so worthless and pathetic, I can't get a job in retail I am scared that I will struggle out in the real world where I will try and seek full time employment. Does anyone have any advice for me, I feel so unemployable (if that makes sense). Should I try local restaurants instead?

Sorry to hear :console:

Have you had feedback? Why are they rejecting you?

Is it post- or pre-interview?

Which city are you in? Is that your home town (so you are there for holidays) or the area where you go to university?

Big retail chains actually get quite a lot of applicants. Do you have experience? Try restaurants, try smaller places, try sales.
