What is in a 'Personal Art Pack', and is there any financial support i can get?

Hey, i'm starting a pre-degree/Extended Diploma course at UCA Canterbury this September, I have recieved a letter from the university detailing that I need to buy a 'Personal Art Pack / Specialist Equipment Pack' costing £110. It's fair to say I'm from a low income family and don't have £110 to throw at a box of art supplies I could assemble myself for £50, however the pack could contain things that I wouldnt be able to get by myself for less than £110, in which case buying the pack might be the best option. I've done some digging myself and I have found that the pack is specialised to the course you're on but theres no actual itinerary of what exactly is in the pack. Does anyone know the exact content of the pack so I can judge how best to approach sorting out the supplies i need or know of any support I can get from UCA/other orginisations to help cover the cost as a member of a low income benefit family.

It may be worth ringing or emailing your subject department and asking if there is any financial support available. Sometimes there is a policy, e.g. for law society memberships there were some bursaries available to cover it for low-income students.
