Does it matter where you do your PGCE? for example I have im applying in london;my choices are UCL
university of Roehampton and London Southbank university.

It matters in that where you go will likely affect how much you enjoy it. The qualification and training itself is essentially the same wherever you go. I've heard excellent things about Roehampton and UCL, and some managers may pick up on that if you're applying for your first job having trained there. Otherwise I wouldn't put too much weight on it.
