Pre-U Philosophy and Theology or Pre-U Art History?

I want to try for Oxford and the other subjects I'm doing are:

Pre-U English
Alevel French
AS Italian

Broadly speaking neither would be better regarded unless there were essential subject requirements. It depends on what you're applying for.

Sometimes it can depend on the degree, which degree are you looking to do? Also do you have a career as an end goal that you would like to get into?

It might be useful to look into the UCAS website and have a look at the degree entry requirements that Oxford would prefer students to have when applying. I would also suggest speaking to the department direct if they don't have specific subjects listed as they decide which applications to accept.

Unlikely to make any difference for French.

For Philosophy related programmes they prefer you to have done subject reading in the area but it doesn't seem to be essential. You can see essential subject requirements here:
