I graduated from interior design in 2017 since then I’ve been struggling to find work within that’s field. I’ve been looking at internship, work experience, volunteering but still nothing because of lack of experience

I would imagine that a lot of interior design firms are very small scale and perhaps don't employ that many people? I would guess a lot of people who work in this field are self employed/freelance.

Have you tried to find an internship or work experience? Talking to people in the field about how they got to where they are now could also be very useful.

Are there others from your course who've been successful? Have you asked them about how they've got to where they are now, and if they know of any opportunities.

Have you worked at all since your degree?

It is extremely difficult, even gaining work expereince. sometimes the practices are too busy with university student work experience or don't have the time. Networking plays a vital role.
Use the professional bodies you have signed to, to give you some support and they have a register of companies that offer further training for a few hours or a day on i.e certain materials, specifying wood etc
Sign onto specialist employment agencies that provide this kind of work and build up you're experience and confidence from there.
Join LinkedIn, its excellent for networking. They have an Interior Design Group set up on there
Continue to hone you're skills. So easy to get out of practice.
Produce mood boards and sell yourself.
Attend the interior design and interior design focussed shows. The Surface Design Show is fabulous.
Somebody I know gained work experience after her qualification and then started her own practice with no employees, but not everybody wants to take on this responsibility. The key is to network network network. Good luck with that!
