It seems to me a lot of guys even older ones are still stuck in their teenage phase and never really grow out of it.

Whereas fewer women seem to be like that.

Am I right and if I am is it the way we are socialised that makes us so?

Yes, men do take longer to mature emotionally. My other half is 27 and still acts like a 17 year old sometimes!

Everyone's different, so I'm not sure how to answer your question of, "does every single men in the world take longer to mature?".

it's said often that women are typically more mature but I'm not sure how true it is. have watched some child psychology programmes which shows that's the case in aspects of cognitive development, dunno if it continues into adulthood.

Don't think you can generalise it, even if the majority is like that (which is debatable in itself).

First-hand experience- goes both ways. Gender isn't a factor for it imo.

I think someone told me that boys have the emotional maturity of 5 years younger then their actual age. But not all boys obviously.

I hate to make generalisations. I know mature men and I know immature men. I know there’s some science behind the idea that men take longer to mature, but ultimately I think life forces people to mature at different times
