Occupational Therapy placements

Hi , I have a conditional offer for Psychology with Counselling, I have just had my results and I have exceeded my offer. I know someone who studied Occupational Therapy at Huddersfield a few years ago and they have advised me that it is something that I would enjoy if I am able to change course at this stage, my question is: how long are the placements for and are they usually full time over 5 days? Thank you

Hi - sorry you haven't had a response to this yet. I'm just going to bump the thread in the hope that someone sees this and can help 
The Universities forums get a lot of questions that are unanswered. This is often because the OP's thread got missed - bumping threads gives them another lease of life and frequently results in someone seeing it and being able to respond

How are you?
The placements for Occupational Therapy BSc(Hons) take place throughout the three years. You're required to complete 1000 hours of assessed professional practice throughout the course in a range of health, social and third sector care settings. This will be equivalent to placements of 7 weeks in Year 1, 12 weeks in Year 2 and 10 weeks in Year 3.
