is science an easy subject to take at level 3 compared to others?

HI, I am currently 17 and in college. I messed up years 9,10,11 in high school and ended in a pru which only let us sit English and maths GCSE. long story short I failed both and realised that I wanted to study and prove myself to everyone so I enrolled at a local college on a BTEC First level 2 in business.
It was a totally new subject for me and I only managed to get a Level 1 Pass. thing is I got all my passes but for some reason only level 1 and it really upset me. But it is a big achievement for me coming from a small referall unit to mainstream college and because I had missed so much education I am really far behind so maybe that's why I didn't pass this course?

SO I can do a level 2 at a different college then progress onto level 3 then get goo grades and apply for uni. Now I have applied for Applied Science Level 2 but im worried its going to be too difficult for me. I want a subject which is relatively easy. I know its hard to establish what easy is especially when all courses will be at same level but some subjects are naturally much less stressful. if I do this level 2 BTEC in science and progress onto Level 3 will it be too difficult?

You should talk with your teacher. Some of studying is natural ability, some hard work and some just technique. It is unclear what the extent of your ability is and how seriously you take your studies.

Some students have a preference and more affinity with certain other subjects.
You will still need to pass GCSE English and Maths for nearly all unis.
The new college may or may not let you do level 2 science and whether you cna do level 3 depends on how well you do at 2.
Normally I suggest do the subjects you enjoy and are prepared to work hard at. If you dont do well at level 2 you are unlikely to cope with level 3.
It is possible to build from nothing as long as you put the effort in and learn basic study techniques.
I would say sciences are harder but if you enjoy them then it would be easier for you.

You might also want to speak to your careers adviser so you can work out what your plan is and what target you wish to reach.
Maybe start with functional skills English and Maths?
