MA Social Work: UCLan, Manchester Met or Uni of Manchester?

I am stuck between studying at UCLan, Manchester Met or Uni of Manchester.

The tuition fees at UCLan are considerably less than both Manchester - does anybody know why? Are much higher tuition fees worth studying in Manchester? I’m not looking for the typical party student life, I’m simply looking for the best place to study MA Social Work.

Secondly, I prefer learning in small groups and building rapport with my tutors. Some people say I won’t find this at Uni of Manchester as students are treated like numbers. Is this true? Has anybody had any experience of this?

I’m in a similar situation (with other subjects) and from what I can find out, a degree from Uni of Manchester is quite a bit more respected than the other two. However, there doesn’t seems to be much difference in quality between Manchester Met and Uclan. I’m sure it’s different for every subject and job though.
I’ve heard the same, but don’t want to choose a uni depending on its reputation rather than what can offer me the right type of learning! If that makes sense :smile:
