Jelly Baby Vodka

Don't know if anyone's tried this before.

Get a bottle of Vodka and add Jelly Babies. screw top on vodka and put bottle in dishwasher for 1 hour. The heat causes the Jelly Babies to dissolve, and you have a very nice tasting drink, which just so happens to get you very drunk. Do not use the black ones, they turn it a horrible murkey colour.

Can be done with any sweets really, such as Campinos, blackjacks, mashmallows can also be added for extra taste.

Has anyone tried it, and if so, what sweets did you use and how did it turn out?

Never tried that.
You can pour vodka into a watermelon though and leave it for a while. Thats meant to taste nice.

On the topic of jelly babies, apparently if you put one into a 2 litre bottle of water it expands to the size of the bottle.
wow i'll try that!! i luv jelly babies (and vodka!!) u eva tried green s**t? that tastes like jelly babies

Never heard of green s**t. What is it and where can you get it? What %?
I tried that with skittles (take out the purple and greens and yellow ones) tastes nice, but u get little white lumps, which means you have to chew before you swallow

If you get lumps then you didn't heat it for long enough. Don't put it into the fridge either, as then it will become solid again.

Don't you end up drinking hot vodka then? Or do you just leave it for ages?

If you don't have a dishwasher, stand it in hot water for an hour.

You don't drink hot vodka, you do leave it to cool to room temperature though Any colder and it will solidify.

Could they make one with just strawberry fruit pastilles?

For goodness sake, just make it yourselves. You're just paying others to do what you already can do.

If you want strawberry fruit pastle vodka, then make it yourself and save a lot of money.

Why pay a shop to make what you already can?

buy some vodka and mix it

you do realise that if you buy it from the shop it'll probably be double the price of the ingredients?

Me and my mates H and Beth did something similar with vodka and jelly babies on holiday in Scotland! We did vodka jelly with jelly babies in! Remember though if you do that to let the jelly mix cool a bit otherwise when you pour in the vodka the alcohol evaporates! Makes an excellent party foodstuffage
