Migrant Worker - Changing jobs

Recently I’ve been awarded with tuition fee loan and maintenance loan for migrant workers. However, I’ll have to move to another city to start my studies (I don’t live in the same city where the university that I applied for is) and, therefore, I’ll have to quit my current job and find a new one. Will I lose the migrant worker status, even if I just change a job? Will it be a problem if I will have a few weeks (3-5 weeks) of unemployment while I move to a new city and seek a new job?

A maximum gap of 4 weeks can be given before the maintenance support will need to be prorated for starting new employment.

If the gap lasts longer than 4 weeks we will need to reassess your entitlement.
