I have chosen a different pathway to become a Solicitor - Is it okay?

I'll try to make this short, so won't give any reasons for my choices.

My plan is:
- Do a BA (Hons) Criminology & Sociology degree at Liverpool John
Moores University.
- Then do the Solicitors Qualifying Examination course at the University
of Law, Manchester Campus.

With this plan would I still be able to get a good job at a Solicitors firm?
I'm mainly interested in Family, Immigration and Criminal Law, and Human Rights.

There's no way to give any kind of real answer to this, as your employment prospects will depend on so many more factors, however the pathway you describe, by itself, will not put you at any disadvantage.
Thank you for the reply!
