I failed my second year at nursing this year.
I managed to secure an interview for a cardiac physiology apprenticeship.

I know they're going to talk about why I failed my nursing degree. (I "failed" my placement) I honestly don't feel like I failed I feel more like I was cheated, I had a horrible mentor who said I don't use my initiative despite her not spending any time with me.

how can I talk about my failed placement without the interviewer thinking I'll fail at the apprenticeship too?

thank you

Be as honest as you can, wouldn't recommend bad-mouthing previous employers/agencies though.

I’m a second year cardiac phys, I would recommend really going to town about the profession. Show your knowledge about all the proecedures: ECG, holtor monitoring, exercise stress test, myoview, pacing and echocardiography. And use examples from nursing to back your skills up with the tests.
