I have been offered a place for teacher training(Computer Science) this September. I have applied for my scholarship and have been invited for an interview. Has anyone applied for this before? What can I expect in my interview? Any idea on this would be really appreciated.

I know a few people who had scholarships for chemistry/physics, and as far as I can tell, getting the scholarship was not difficult for them as long as they met the academic requirements. AFAIK, the interview for them was really just a formality- so try not to stress about it and I'm sure it'll be fine

I received an offer for the RSC scholarship.
If you've got the interview, you've basically already got the scholarship.
My interview consisted of a 1 hour chemistry test, 30 minute group interview, 5 minute teaching a lesson and a 20 minute 1 to 1 interview.
It wasn't too bad at all, very similar to a teacher training interview.

Most questions were multiple choiced and others needed a written answer.
I had to revise GCSE and A-level Chemistry too for the test.
There were some practice questions on the RSC website that were reccomended to be used as revision for the test.

That would have nice to have some practice questions . At least you have some idea on how it would be 🙂 I’ve got no clue on what they are going to ask 🙂
