Last year, at the peak of my bulk, I went to see my family and they said I looked like a fridge.

Jeez so all parents are like this then... I thought it was just mine who took pleasure in patting and pinching my stomach and calling me pudgy/paunchy/chubby in public

Yes, but I respond in kind. Coming from a fat family has its perks I guess.

Literally the skinniest person in the house and yet somehow the recipient of all the fat jokes - probably because I've had the most noticeable recent weight gain in the past couple of years (but even they admit I look better for it).

Well, sorta, my issue is I am 15 and 90 lbs, so I am super underweight, so I get shamed when I lose weight...

if I'm sitting on an armchair watching Netflix and eating snacks, my mum will always say "you should find a job or you'll get fat"

my family don't call me fat, they just say I'll get fat if I do xyz etc. but the aunties will say I'm big whenever they see me😆 I don't know if they mean that as a compliment or not.

Yes, they'll mention in it. Not shame me. Although most of the conversations about my weight with my parents is about me loosing weight and me not eating enough. I disagree but it is what it is.
