I have applied for the SAAS funding before 30 June, but I uploaded the required documents on 8 July. My application is therefore pending, but the fee award is already claimed (What does it mean?). I am going to study in Scotland in September, but the next deadline for fee funding is on 30 March 2020... Does it mean I have to pay this year's tuition fees?

If you applied before 30th June then you should still get your fees paid because those don’t depend on any documents being uploaded but you might get your bursary/loan late because you sent in the documents late. On your account it should have an ‘award letter’ for your fees which confirms that they will be paid and the loan part will probably still say pending for now. Double check that you have the award letter for fees and if you don’t you should call or email SAAS to make sure the fees will be paid on time
