Is Level 3 BTEC APPLIED SCIENCE HARD?

I just want to know how much mathematics base it is especially physics as I am not good at maths. I know BTEC's ask for a lot of coursework- generally how many pages would you need to write on an assignment?
How hard is it generally, bare in mind please I have no previous scientific experience apart from year 7 and 8 science in high school. I will be doing a Level 2 beforehand however.
