Dental Hygienist to Dentist
I am a current dental hygienist (US hygiene degree but GDC qualified/registered) and I recently came across a post that stated there were a couple of courses that would allow a dental hygienist/therapist to become a dentist in 18 months...? Does anyone know if that is accurate? If so, what are the programs? ...I could imagine it to be nearly impossible as there's SO MUCH in dentistry...The closest thing I have seen was UCLAN dental studies BSc for hygienists/therapists in 18 months-to GET INTO dental school. thanks!
