@Puddles the Monkey - ya got another one! ^^

1)What A-levels are you taking and what grades are you hoping for?
English Literature, English Language, Politics & EPQ. I'm hoping for my predicted grades as a baseline (A*AA) with an A in EPQ. Anything above that I will cry.

2)What subject are you thinking of applying for at Manchester?
English Language and Literature.

3)What are your GCSE Grades?
98888A*A*777A

4)Why Manchester?
The city's ****ing dope, man. And I am loving the advertising campaign.

5) What are your concerns about Uni? If you have any.
The only thing stopping me from firming or insuring this choice is accommodation. I won't be able to afford a £400 deposit :/ so I'll have to look at Unite Students or somewhere with a lower one.

6) What accommodation are you looking at?
See above ^^^

Hey guys - I got an offer for Physics MPhys to start this September - obviously I don’t know my grades or if I’ve got in yet but if any physics applicants want to know anything about application process or interviews etc then feel free to DM me! I’m no expert but I have been through it myself, and if I do meet my offer I’m happy to share what grades they let me in with etc. xx
What A-levels are you taking and what grades are you hoping for?
Biology, Chemistry and Maths - Hopefully AAA but I'd settle for AAB

What subject are you thinking of applying for at Manchester?
Pharmacy (specifically the MPharm course)

What are your GCSE Grades?
988888777A*Dist*

Why Manchester?
I was super impressed by the uni on its open day, although not so much by the medical building itself, but beggars can't be choosers! If anyone is planning on going to an open day I would highly recommend the welcome talk which is where I was really wowed.

What are your concerns about Uni? If you have any.
Cost of living as I live in a small town in the countryside. Also, the accommodation doesn't look all that great.

What accommodation are you looking at?

Unsworth Park, Denmark Road, Liberty Park, Weston Hall, Sheavyn House

What A-levels are you taking and what grades are you hoping for:
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care (Finished year one on DD)

What subject are you thinking of applying for:
Adult Nursing

What GCSEs do you have:
1 A*
3 B
4 C

Why Manchester:
I love the city, I spend a lot of time there. It's very different to where I live, and I like how busy it is! University of Manchester is a really great university for Nursing.

Concerns about Uni:
Where do I start😂
I'm worried about living arrangements, I'm tossing between private renting, living alone and private renting within student accommodation! I'm scared about the idea of living with people I haven't met before, although I know that is a really good way of making new friends!
On that subject, I'm really worried I wont make friends! It's such a big change, and none of my home friends are taking this educational route!
I'm also a little worried that I'm not going to be as smart as some of the others - I have got 2 years of experience within the sectors, although I'm nervous my academic knowledge isnt quite as good as everybody else's.

What accommodation are you looking for:
As I mentioned above, I'm looking at private renting either alone or within student accommodation. I dont particularly want to live alone, although I'm abit nervous about the idea of living with other people

(On that note, if anyone is also in this living arrangements situation, please feel free to get in touch bc I would LOVE to get to know some people)

1)What A-levels are you taking and what grades are you hoping for?
Applied Science: I'm hoping for a Distinction but since half of my grade will be determined by my teachers, I am a bit worried that my overall grade would be a Merit. One of my applied science teachers really does not know what he's doing and he's marking our assignments....so I'll have to work harder

Health and Social Care: Distinction

Sociology: B

2)What subject are you thinking of applying for at Manchester?
Nursing

3)What are your GCSE Grades?
Maths: 4
English Literature: 6
English Language: 5
Art: 6
Psychology: C
Science: 5:5

4)Why Manchester?
Manchester is one of the top Universities for Nursing and I'm going to one of their open days on September to find out why
