Something closer to china yet with far less corruption and far more government scrutiny for non state controlled entities
Then you’re basically a commie too buddy 👍🏻

Corruption is inevitable to some degree in any system. In the West we often call it lobbying

Firstly china is not communist and I would only be nationalising Rail, Energy and other very vital things, the rest would be private and have some scrutiny from the government, Unions would also be fully banned.

A centrist Labour with a Blair/Cameron type character could walk the next election. You'd have the support of the South East/London middle class and the UK wide remainers. It would be a complete repeat of 1997, providing a massive boost to the South East/London.

I never thought that I'd actually be saying this, because if you knew me in person I would never openly praise the Labour party, but the "pandora's box" of globalisation has been open for a good 2-3 decades now, and the impact cannot be undone.

Sadly the "old-boys-club" have taken over the Tory party, and the Tories cannot in any serious way be regarded as the party of Business/the economy. A centrist who "looks the other way" when it comes to business issues, essentially a Blair type character is inevitable at this point.

Global capitalism cannot be stopped, it can be delayed (Brexit and Trump), but everyone likes cheap goods, and housing which increases in price. Normal service will resume sometime around the mid 2020's. You cannot run the UK without immigration and a cheap supply of labour.

It’s state capitalist but under a communist leadership. It is ‘actually existing communism’ Where it has used the apparatus of the state to give power to the workers of China for the benefit of the majority,

Unless you have a very firm authoritarian government which won’t last for ever corporations will always take hold eventually, especially in finance eg Rothschild bank.

Blair who helped privatise the nhs. Bring about tuition fees. I don’t care about pursuing power for its own sake. If I did i’d be a Tory.
I find the disastrous public private partnerships in relation to the rail network more objectionable than the nhs initiatives.

When Blair introduced tuition fees he capped them to a level where the average graduate working full time on the minimum wage would be able to fully repay.
At the start, tuition fees did not apply to students whose parents earned below £34k a year and there were bursaries available for students whose household incomes were below £16k.

Cameron and Clegg were the ones who allowed tuition fees to escalate to unsustainable levels that burdened the taxpayer with mass write offs and large admin costs.

The opposition are not supposed to be a hobbyist protest group or a comedy show.
They are supposed to be a viable means of holding the government of the day to account in parliament and a credible 'change in direction' option for the electorate.
Political power achieved by means of winning elections with a reasonable majority- to enable a change of government and positive improvements to people's everyday lives.

Nope I like Corbyn, I don't remember Labour doing so well in the polls when more to the centre leaders like Miliband were leading the party.

Yeah my comment was more contextualized to current political affairs. I think people have had enough of labour not being LABOUR but a tory-lite neo-liberal party that does extend some socially aware policies but doesn't offer grand, thorough structural reform against inequality.

I think income inequality and its transmuted many types of socioeconomic disenfranchisement cannot be solved by Blairite types.

Can't say much about Atlee, I just know that the NHS was founded under his leadership. So thats good.

... And they are exactly that which has been sorely lacking in the U.K. for decades. This is also why the press, Tories and right wing labour establishment can’t stand them and attack them constantly.

Look across the continent : the respect table centre left are being deservedly slaughtered for sticking to the same washed out third way crap. The only area where this isn’t happening is the U.K. where we have a left wing party worthy of the name.

Blair started the tuition fees off and this made it easier for subsequent governments

Oh look a Zionist Left wing shill telling us Corbyn is unelectable because a load of Jewish oligarchs have left Labour thats hardly an exodus they should be ashamed of

The British people should rejoice that their politics isn't bought with Zionist money

Truly pathetic when a load of so called Left wingers lecture us on hate and racism while supporting Israel a country that has done nothing but commit ethnic cleansing since its creation. Pathetic.

Wtf is up with non labour members moaning about labours choice of leader? It’s like me coming into your house and telling you what furniture you’re having.

Then again some of those criticising Corbyn are neocons who are in favour of taking out democracy’s and installing puppet regimes

Miliband is recent, people barely remember Blair and he’s about as popular as ebola.

Where, abroad eg Venezuela or at home or both?

Why?

As a communist i’m sympathetic to genuine revolutionary movements obviously. Abroad, definitely not unless they represent a direct threat and have already declared war or commenced hostilities.

The current Labour leadership is not credible.
Nor would I define their agenda as a remotely positive one.
Possibly a hobbyist protest group, comedy show or national shame- depending on perspective.
My parents are both Corbyn supporting revolutionary trade union socialists, have been for decades before I was born.

So what? My parents are Tories!

Credible: to who? Tories? Right wing media? I should hope not!

Agenda:,saying no to pointless wars and against rampant inequality in our society as well as increased spending for public services? That is what the Labour Party should be about at its core which is why he’s the leader.

Corbyn has seen off 2 leadership contests, seen. 2 Tory leaders come and go, won a majority of by elections, gained seats and an increase if the vote in what was predicted by the same exact people as a wipe out for labour.

If Corbyn really was such a joke the establishment would not be ******** themselves and desperately going after him..

I grew up with the revolutionaries and was almost deafened by their noise nuisance for 18 years.
I understand what the term "tankie" means.
I don't consider any of the current Labour headship remotely entertaining or their antics to be a laughing matter.
