I had a look at Korean Studies, too! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find enough places that had it in the UK to make it a viable option for me (I live in Preston, so the idea of going to UCLan really doesn’t appeal to me!), but it looks like you’ve got some really good options! (: I think I’ll probably just end up continuing self-studying instead. How’s your society going? I considered setting one up at my own college but I wanted to avoid picking up any koreaboos... I’d love to hear your experience with it!

Yeah there aren't many options but I can't picture myself doing any other degree really. I went to the UCLan open day and wasn't too keen on the uni but I'll still apply. Sheffield is definitely my top choice as I really love everything about the uni and I live close to Sheffield anyway so I can just commute. Not many people joined up. I may try it again this September and see if more people join.

Thank you, you too!
I have a few drafts but I’m still unsure as to what to write, it’s stressful. What about you?

I’ve also been to Sheffield and Uclan, I think I went to the open days in June. I wasn’t too keen on Uclan but I’m keeping it as an option.

I’ll be going to the open day in York too but in November Still thinking about visiting SOAS at some point.

I'm the exact same. Uclan didn't really feel right to me. Sheffield will most likely be my firm choice as it's pretty local to me so I can commute and I really love the university anyway so it's a win win tbh.
Also with regards to the personal statement, I too am struggling. I'm not sure what to write.
