The government put "extreme pressure" on a school to stop lessons on LGBT relationships, a chief executive said.
Hazel Pulley said Parkfield Community School suspended the teachings following "frantic phone calls" from the Department for Education (DfE).
"The DfE really wanted the protests to stop. They wanted it out of the press," said Ms Pulley, who is head of the trust which runs the school.
The DfE is "working intensively with the school and parents", it said.
Ms Pulley also urged new Prime Minister Boris Johnson to step in and make guidance on the issue for head teachers clearer or risk further divisions in communities.

Do you have any evidence to suggest that the request to stop came from a minister? Most likely a civil servant doing what they thought would be best at the time (rightly or wrongly)

Doubtful, a bit too far beyonf their remit. More than likely came from the ministers officer form one of his advisers/aids etc.

Haha enjoying diversity now leftists? they don't want no part of your backward ideology

You know if the school was full of White kids you'd probably be protesting against the faaaaaaaar-right
Why are you blaming this on the left?

The Conservative Party, although they like to get your votes by pandering to your xenophobia, don't ever actually decrease immigration. Cheap labour is just too good for their and their mates' bank accounts. Boris (who for years has been a champion of the anti-"PC" crowd here) himself has vowed he will not decrease immigration - and after Brexit, guess where it'll be coming from?
