I passed my test a couple of weeks ago and have been driving about. But truth be told I don't even know much about the mechanical side. I can do basics like check the oil but that's the extent of it. I'm probs going to have to watch some YouTube videos tbh.

Not much really, but learning quickly, I intentionally wanted an older fixer-upper car to get some practice. I do a lot of work with smaller engines like lawnmowers and the like so a lot of it carries over.

As Blackstarr said I find Youtube invaluable, it hasn't failed me yet when i want to know where/how to do do something in my specific car. I'm also likely going to take a short evening course at my local college in basic stuff.
