i.e. leaving the EU will devastate their income as most of their sales are to the Continent.

Lamb is the tastiest meat, why are we shipping it in from New Zealand?
Surely it is not beyond the wit of man to see that this increases cost and creates a huge carbon footprint.

I would happily pay a bit more to buy Welsh lamb!!

Who wouldn't?

UK hill farming (mainly sheep) is heavily subsidized where as New Zealand sheep farming isn't.
I am all for farming without subsidies and paying the true cost of its production.
Before you go on about how the end of sheep farming in the Welsh hills will ruin the natural scenery, there is nothing natural about vast acres of short grass.
The Welsh economy would be better of if they were to re-wild the hills and capitalize on eco-tourism.
