Wondering what sort of mad roundabouts people come across.
I live in Swindon so obviously the magic roundabout seems to cause alot of confusion! However driving recently I realised we have quite a few roundabouts that seem a bit odd. This one has strange lanes at the bottom...

What roundabouts near you or you've been round seem to have been made strangely

I love that nickname, the magic roundabout, not so magic...

I often travel down to Oxford. There are so many roundabouts from the motorway to Oxford I call it roundabout city! They have cute names, though, like barleymow.

The weirdest roundabout I knew was the hole in the road in Sheffield ( now defunct)

There was a pedestrian bit underground in the actual hole so the traffic was going round and round above your head

I would hate to have to navigate spaghetti junction in Birmingham. Does that still exist?

the plan looks confusing but tbh it's really easy to drive on... just get in the correct lane as signposted.

Unfortunately I am not a correct lane person. I am frequently an incorrect lane person. If I got on it today, you would still find me screaming and driving round aimlessly by next month.

Just follow the road markings and signs. It's not rocket science.

Hemel Hempstead "magic" roundabout (off-peak), video taken from a nearby overpass
As you can see lane discipline can be poor.
They have improved lane markings a bit since.
Generally it's good, instead of queuing to go left you can be smart and go right then round 4 mini-roundabouts.

The river Gade runs under (not much more than a stream really)

Busy double roundabouts still get me. Thankfully there's not too many in stoke
