GENEVA/BEIRUT (Reuters) - Air strikes by the Syrian government and its allies on schools, hospitals, markets and bakeries have killed at least 103 civilians in the past 10 days, including 26 children, U.N. human rights chief Michelle Bachelet said in a statement on Friday.

Yet another war crime committed against the civilians of the poorest country in the region (Yemen) by the terrorist Wahhabi clan in Saudi Arabia.

Using British and American weapons, no less.

It isn't exactly reassuring when you read about many people dying violently, but we actually live in the most peaceful time in history in terms of the proportion of people (not) dying violent deaths.

Oh, I don't doubt that the Saudis have used weapons they purchased from the British government in such incidents - it is just that the news story said that each side was blaming each other. I think the only weapon mentioned in the article was Russian-made (the Yemeni government accused the Supporters of Allah of using them - the Iranian-backed group that overthrew the government) - so I don't know where Palmyra gets their news from.
