AQA bio b - BYB7 Microbes and disease - Immunology help! Watch
Basically we had a rubbish teacher for this section! I have a general idea of what macrophages, neutrophils, T-lymphocytes and B-lymhpocytes do, but I don't get how it all fits together!
E.g. does the neutrophil ingest a bacterium, digest it by lysozymes and then the macrophages digest these in order to present the antigens to T-lymphocytes?
T-lymphocytes recognise antigens and multiply, produce cytotoxins and stimulate B-lymphocytes to make and secrete antibodies? Then memory cells are made?!
That probably seems a bit confusing to read but it's even worse in my noggin!
Any sort of short, bullet-pointed summary will be greatly appreciated!
