Boyfriends awful friends

So my bf recently made a new group of friends at uni. My bf was showing me something (a meme I think) that this one boy sent him. Basically I saw loads of pictures of girls (actresses I think) and basically the boy was sending him loads of pictures asking him which ones he liked. My bf was like “I have a gf, I like her” and kept shrugging it off but this guy kept pushing it. The thing is he’s met me so he knows he has a gf! Why the hell would he do that

My bf isn’t the issue , the crappy friend is
It's what boys do, it's like you saying to your mates "who do you think is fit" etc.
