Can someone please translate whatever message Profesh is trying to convey into something that I might better be able to understand, like Yiddish or that Bushman clicking language? As it stands, I have no idea whether Profesh is seriously claiming that the only way to expand one's mind is with drugs -- or maybe even chocolate -- or if it's simply the case that I find his stances symptomatic of a dangerous but spreading mentality. But first, let me pose you a question: Is he actually concerned about any of us or does he just want to increase people's stress and aggression? After reading this post, you'll indubitably find it's the latter. The moral of the story: Insidious harebrained-types and fatuous, bilious antagonists will join forces by next weekend to outrage the very sensibilities of those who value freedom and fairness.
Most entertaining. I would, however, by means of retort, seek to draw your attention to the following:

Hello Smart *cough* Fella. They is something I need to tell you, however I am unsure whether it will not be hindered by any obstructions. You are arrogant, conceited, supercilious boy who frankly, will get no where in life. The problem has arisen because you yourself feel that you are a ‘smart fella’ [sic] yet you fail to absorb the fact that you are not. Tell me, what qualifications do you have? Nothing? At this point in time you are nonexistent to the world of education. You have nothing. So frankly what I would say to you is, desist from your puerile and haughty attitude and find yourself another pastime. Perhaps, you should be a dustbin man (after all, we have respect for them) until you awake from your castle in the sky.
And my translation:

Hello, SmartFella. I need to tell you something, but don't know if it'll get through. You have a superiority-complex, and, frankly, will get no-where in life. This is problematic because you feel that you are a 'smart fella' when, in actual fact, you aren't. You've no qualifications to speak of as yet, and are thus technically uneducated. So my advice, frankly, is to stop being so childish, to stop looking down on others, and to pick another hobby. Perhaps you should become a dustbin-man (which is at least respectable), until you're no longer so deluded.

And consequently deride you for being a charlatan, a hypocrite, and a sanctimonious, supercilious ass (albeit an entertaining one).

I never said it was the sole factor, but obviously it is a factor, seeing as 1/3 of oxbridge students come from 100 schools. If you went to an average comp and did well then fair play, but don't deny that private school pupils have a massive advantage.
I haven't experienced private school but the advantage gained by attending is not insurmountable, especially with GCSE's where I achieved the results I did with only revision done the night before. Mind, I didn't do exceptionally well with only a handful of A*'s/A's, but that was probably more down to my innate laziness and the unstimulating GCSE curriculum rather than my school.

There are two things about your tricks that I find personally offensive, completely unethical, and quite sad. One is that deep down, you know that I'm right. And the other is that you accuse me of being uppity-to-the-core whenever I state that his problem is that he is thinking in a linear versus a configurational framework. All right, I'll admit that I have a sharp tongue and sometimes write with a bit of a poison pen but the fact remains that you like to cite poll results that "prove" that he can be trusted to judge the rest of the world from a unique perch of pure wisdom. Really? Have you ever been contacted by one of his pollsters? Chances are good that you never have been contacted and never will be. Otherwise, the polls would show that Profesh says that fanaticism resonates with the body's natural alpha waves. But then he turns around and says that he is the one who will lead us to our great shining future. You know, you can't have it both ways, Profesh. While this post hasn't provided anything in the way of a concrete plan of action, it may help us focus our thinking a little better when we do work out a plan. For now, we must criticize Profesh's complicity in the widespread establishment of officialism. I will indisputably be happy to have your help in this endeavor.

I've already supplied perfectly valid reasons as to why - reasons consistent with reason - and those reasons are entirely my prerogative

But i will repeat my reason for you once more. To show respect for other people, other than my "fellow countrymen"
Presumably you must meet these people in order to pay your respects to them? I show my 'respect' by not imposing on people who would have to take disproportionate pains solely for my benefit as a tourist/traveller; which, given my relative indifference towards the idea of travel beyond the English-speaking sphere, doesn't even amount to a compromise.

Likewise; alas, I've somewhat of an arrogant temperament. What's your excuse?

Now, let us pause to contemplate the irony of this would-be iconoclasm, being as his syntactic and semantic legerdemain is even more brazenly self-indulgent than my own. You can't have it both ways, you know.

Edit: I agree with you regarding 'SmartGuy' incidentally (who is clearly a cretin of the most distilled water); but you seem to have missed the crux of my response.

Well, we've established that French is your third-language; so, English being your second: what's your first?
Russian is my first

Russian is my first
Good. Now; would you rather that this debate be postponed until I've taught myself Russian to fluency out of 'respect' for your culture? (Bear in mind that this would take me probably at least five years.)

With due respect, this is a discussion thread about a particular topic (which your argument has nothing to do with), not a PM. Can you two continue this feud elsewhere?
