I loved P.E, especially cross-country. The delicious pain of exhaustion and the joyous relief of rest is unrivalled. (I was also the best at it so I had something to boast about)

Never done anything to get out of PE. My school didn't allow excuses anyways. Someone broke into my locker and stole my PE kit once. I got made to wear some old dirty kit, because in my school, there are no excuses to avoiding PE. If your not feeling well, you can come back for a PE detention.

I ahted cross country. One year i kept pulling my left muscle on the same hill each week. Still managed to come in the top 30 out of 180.

I've always ended up just doing it, whether I liked it or not. :p:

Got my mum to write me anote saying I had cystitis, still. (I did actually have it the week before)
Had a clarinet lesson

Did anyone else's school make them do PE even though they'd brought in a note? They tried to make me do PE, even though I had no kit, had a note and was under instructions (by the nurse) NOT to do PE because it will cause problems.

the usual forge notes, forget my kit, walk with an exaggerated limp until i got asked to sit out...

i quite liked P.E usually apart from sports that involved balls, the single version are not my friend ;no; these were the reason i got out of P.E for risk of being injured or shouted at

rounders was the worse - i was always sent to be deep deep fielder, so i would just ignore the game
but one time when me and my friend were having a game of charades and we heard shouting, i looked down at my feet and of course there was the bloody ball - 'right this is my moment of glory' i thought i picked that ball up and threw it in the air with all my strength, unfortunately it went straight up to the sky and dropped down in front of me again - it's fair to say my team weren't too impressed

Yes. Not me personally, I just never got hurt.
Except when I broke my jaw I had to do athletics instead of trampolining.

Someone I know had a broken arm and got forced into Table Tennis. :p:

Both of these are just stupid. I mean, if someone's broken a bone, how the hell are they meant to do PE?

Periods that came remarkably early

"I put my PE kit in the washing machine but now the door's jammed, but the repairman is coming today" Got away with it too!

Verrucas that I didn't get treated

Faked notes (I perfected my mum's signature)

For the last 4 years of primary school, inexplicably, I was ill every sports day.

Finally, in Y9 I had a spinal operation and got the specialist to sign me off PE for a year. The PE department didn't say anything until just before Christmas Y11, when I turned on the waterworks. It worked

I didn't mind doing P.E. so much.

It was when the bigger boys went round the changing room with the towels that it wasn't so fun...

Done a german GCSE so it replaced my P.E lessons for two years lol. There was only like 3 people in the class. I still got chosen to run the relay at sports day!!

But sometimes P.E. wasn't that bad. . .

Despite having a veruca, I still had to do PE. I got told (by the PE teacher) 'you can only get them from swimming.' Right, that's why I've not been swimmin for years and have them.

Things you have done to get out of PE. Come on, we've all done it at some point!

- Pretended I had a exam
- Hid my PE kit, then go 'looking' for it, because I 'lost' it
- Did YAA and managed to do it in my PE lessons for 2 years
- forgot my kit (Don't do this 6 weeks in a row like I did!)

I also was banned from doing javalin in atheletics. I had quite a few 'near misses' which could of been rather unfortunate incidents :P
whats wrong with a little honesty?

"Yo! teacher, i look like a prat in white, so i'm off to the girls locker room. adios."
